Why Dolph Lundgren? In the previous post, I wrote about his ex: Grace Jones. so, why not him as well?

Dolph Lundgren is a Swedish born film actor and director. After acquiring a master's degree in chemical engineering he was accepted into MIT but quit after just two weeks in order to pursue a movie career. His first on screen appearance was in the Bond film A View to a Kill. Less than a year later appeared in Rocky IV as Ivan Drago, the fighter from Russia. From then on he has appeared in mainly action movies with big parts in films such as He-Man, The Punisher, Universal Soldier and John Woo's Blackjack. (via Mahalo)

Lundgren is currently promoting the direct-to-video action flick Direct Contact, and has just completed Command Performance, an action-thriller he directed, in which he plays an ex-biker working as a drummer in a rock band at a Moscow charity concert. This showcases Dolph's longtime musical talents. Lundgren then wrapped his on-screen reunion with Jean-Claude Van Damme in Universal Soldiers: The Next Generation where he plays Andrew Scott's clone. He returned to the directors chair with his subsequent movie Icarus.

While he is now editing a new directorial/starring effort, the thriller Icarus, Lundgren is about to co-star alongside Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Charisma Carpenter, Brittany Murphy and Arnold Schwarzenegger and many others in the action film The Expendables and will be his first theatricaly released film in 12 years. "The Expendables has a seventy million-dollar budget," says Lundgren, "and it's an old-school, kick-ass action movie where people are fighting with knives and shooting at each other."

He has been married to Anette Qviberg, a jewelry designer and fashion stylist, since 1994. The couple live in Marbella, Spain. They have two daughters: Ida Sigrid Lundgren (born April 1996) and Greta Eveline Lundgren (born November 2001). In January 2009[14], Lungren's home was reportedly broken into by three masked burglars who tied up and threatened Qviberg, but fled when they spotted a family photo and realized that the house was owned by Lundgren. Why Grace Jones? I saw a few tweets about a tour she's doing these days. I think she is 61 and still rock & rolling.

She is a Jamaican-American model, actress, singer, performer and style icon. Grace Jones began her career as a model in the early 1970s and released her first album in 1976. Jones' latest album Hurricane was released November 3, 2008 and is her first album in 19 years.

She was also a headlining performer at the 2008 British summer musical festivals "Secret Garden Party" and "Meltdown Festival". (via Mahalo)

Why Tony Danza? I recently read a post on Twitter by ericsamson who was asking the same thing. I thought... Yeah! That's right. Where is Tony Danza now?

On Mahalo, I always find the informations about people that I need.

Tony Danza is an American television actor and former boxer who grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Danza quit boxing after being cast on the TV show Taxi. In the show, which also starred Judd Hirsh, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner, Christopher Lloyd and Andy Kaufman, Danza played the role of "Tony Banta", a cab driver who boxed on the side.

From 1984 to 1992, Danza starred on the sitcom, Who's the Boss, alongside Judith Light, Alyssa Milano and Katherine Helmond. On the show, Danza played "Tony Micelli", an ex-baseball player who becomes a house-keeper to provide a better lifestyle for his daughter.

Danza also hosted his own talk show, The Tony Danza Show, which lasted until 2006.

I did it for Lucien Francoeur, Chantal Francke and Michael J. Fox. Now, it is Erik Estrada's turn. Last night, I was zapping and saw the generic of CHIPs on the Prise2 channel. And I thought: what has been going on with this Estrada guy?

Well, by looking at the picture, he has gotten older. Through my usual deep Web search engines,nothing. WTF! At least, there is Google.

Let start by what he as been going on in this century. In Wikipedia:

I was sending some Tweets about this Against Police Brutality protest going on in Montreal. I was also looking for some more tweeters post about it through Hashtags and Tweetscan. And I stumbled on this post by Lucien Francoeur:

So, now we know. He has been travelling around, the bastard...

Maybe, you can learn more on his official web site, through his Facebook page or personal blog. On Wikipedia, his page is, according to the site editors, in need of references. And there is a lot of stuff concerning Francoeur on Youtube.

But the most interesting discovery was a link to the former Richard Martineau's blog quoting an very strong and interesting opinion made in February 2001 by Francoeur about education on Les Francs-Tireurs.

Le Québec est la place au monde où il y a le plus de réformes bidon qui se font pour justifier des postes de bureaucrates. Or, c'est ce qu'on fait actuellement avec nos étudiants. C'est de l'argent que ça prend! Dans les écoles, le plâtre te tombe dans la face, il n'y a pas de craie, pas de pupitre, les écoles sont moisies, c'est écoeurant! L'autre jour, j'ai pris un dictionnaire; il n'avait pas de couverture, il était tout déchiré: j'appelle ça le dictionnaire du PQ. Réveillez-vous, bordel! Les parents ont de la misère à gérer leur progéniture, et on voudrait que le zouf qui enseigne dans une école secondaire en gère 44, avec leurs crises d'adolescence, leur pagette, la dope et la violence! La situation dans les écoles secondaires du Québec est explosive; on devrait avoir le double de profs. Et pendant ce temps-là, qu'est-ce qu'on fait? On construit un toit pour un stade de cabochons! Les gens écoutent Virginie et pensent que c'est comme ça que ça se passe dans les écoles. C'est sûr qu'elle a le temps de s'occuper de 1001 cossins, Virginie, elle a 12 étudiants! Mais dans la vraie vie, les professeurs ont de la misère à survivre. Les jeunes profs font des burn-out au bout de cinq ans et changent de carrière; alors qu'avant, un prof travaillait pendant 25 ans! Arrivez en ville! Comment peut-on dire qu'on met trop d'argent dans l'éducation? Si les profs n'avaient pas leurs trois mois (au secondaire sept semaines) de vacances l'été, ils se crisseraient une balle dans la tête! Un jour, je vais me louer un autobus, je vais prendre des parents, et je vais les mettre dans une école secondaire. Ils délireraient dans les fenêtres pour qu'on vienne les chercher! Les réformes, c'est pour faire croire aux gens qu'il se passe quelque chose alors qu'il ne se passe rien. Le ministre de l'éducation (à l'époque: François Legault), c'est un imbécile! Ses bulletins viennent mélanger tout le monde. Ils n'ont pas besoin de bulletins, les étudiants, ils ont besoin d'êtres humains qui sont capables de prendre soin d'eux! J'ai des étudiantes qui viennent me voir dans mon bureau et qui me disent: "Monsieur, c'est correct si je manque l'école demain? Je me fais avorter." Je suis obligé de faire une gestion d'êtres humains et j'en ai 140 à gérer. C'est du personnel que ça prend! On va pisser, au cégep, et devant chaque pissotière, il y a une annonce d'un commerçant. Comment se fait-il qu'on n'ait jamais pensé à mettre un contenu littéraire ou un message d'intérêt social sur ces affiches? Tu entres dans la cafétéria et tu vois un poster d'une fille à moitié nue. La prochaine étape, ça va être une bande rouge qui défilera dans les classes avec des annonces dessus! On est rendu là. On a complètement abandonné l'éducation... Certains de mes étudiants veulent l'indépendance du Québec; or, ils sont totalement analphabètes! Ils veulent imposer une langue qu'ils ne parlent même pas! Les étudiants qui viennent d'ailleurs parlent trois langues: leur langue maternelle, l'anglais et le français, qu'ils parlent mieux que nous. Qui va-t-on engager demain? Lâchez-moi avec vos histoires de Patriotes! Voulez-vous qu'on vous mette dans un enclos au Lac-Saint-Jean et qu'on vous donne des pinottes? Cette idéologie de provincialisme me révolte."

L'école est un milieu complètement décroché de la réalité. Ce ne sont pas les profs qui sont décrochés (même si ils décrochent de plus en plus), c'est l'idée qu'on se fait aujourd'hui de l'école qui l'est. C'est pas vrai qu'à 34 élèves dans une classe avec le tiers des élèves ayant de sérieux troubles d'apprentissage qu'on peut enseigner ou apprendre quoi que ce soit. Déjà là ça marche pas. Alors je vous dis pas l'impact que peuvent avoir des locaux dégueulasses, des équipements désuets et un programme débile que personne ne comprend.

Et si c'est pas assez, ajoutez un climat hyper-violent où les jeunes de toutes les couleurs et de toutes les religions ne croient pas 2 secondes au diplôme que vous leurs promettez. Pas jojo les amis! "

Cela fait 4 ans que j'enseigne au secondaire. J'aime mon boulot au point de travailler de 20h à minuit du dimanche au jeudi dans ma planification d'exercices, d'examens, etc. Lors des dernières négociations, le gouvernement a dit que les profs étaient supposés avoir assez de temps à l'école pour faire ce qu'ils ont à faire. Que nos chers députés viennent POUR VRAI, passer une semaine ; courir après les élèves qui n'ont pas fait leurs travaux ou examens, téléphoner à la maison ou au travail pour essayer de rejoindre des parents pour leur demander pourquoi leur ange n'était pas en classe à la dernière période hier alors qu'il faisait si beau dehors, rencontres avec les divers intervenants scolaires pour faire des suivis de dossiers... Normal qu'on n'aie pas le temps de tout faire en 37 heures payées de travail. Merci M. Francoeur de le reconnaître.

J'entends aussi des absurdités : Les profs sont payés soixante-six milles dollars par années pour garder des enfants. Le maximum que gagne un prof au secondaire, c'est 63 000$, avec un baccalauréat de 4 ans en poches ET 20 ans d'ancienneté. Les profs prennent leur retraite au bout de 25 ans d'ancienneté. FAUX ! C'est 35 ans ! Les profs sont payés l'été. BÉMOL ! Pendant que nous travaillons, l'hiver, nous recevons environ 77% de notre salaire au lieu de 100% comme tout le monde. Les 23% restants, nous les recevons l'été. En passant, le 4%, ça n'existe pas pour un prof, ni se faire payer les heures supplémentaires . Les profs se la coulent douce et se plaignent le ventre plein. AH oui? Bien, venez prendre mon travail pendant une semaine ou ne faites que me suivre pendant une semaine et on verra votre opinion.

L'hiver, je m'occupe de 160 à 400 jeunes, selon le contrat que j'ai signé. Je m'occupe de leur intellectuel autant que de leur psychologique. J'aime mon boulot, parce qu'il me permet d'aider des jeunes à avancer et de croire en eux, en l'avenir. Cependant, je veux qu'on reconnaisse notre travail. "

Jean-Francois Harrison: Another Quebec Comedian in trouble with the law.

Charged of possessing and distributing child pornography, Jean-Francois Harrisson appeared yesterday in a Montreal courtroom where he was also charged with drug possession for carrying one pill of speed and another of ecstasy.

This follows the cases of two other actors from the former hit serie Omerta, Tony Conte and Bruno Di Quinzio, who would be involved in cocaine distribution.

The 34-year-old father has appeared on the French-language teenage programs such as "Watatatow" and "Ramdam. But, Quebec youth-television channel VRAK.TV has pulled all reruns of programs featuring actor Jean-François Harrisson.

He was released on the condition he not come into contact with a minor (including his own children) unless he's accompanied by an adult who is responsible for the youth.

U.S. officials had raided the home of an unidentified suspect in a child porn investigation. Investigators learned the suspect in the States was exchanging data with other people, including one Canadian.

¿Se puede usar Twitter o no en la Asamblea de madrid? Reyes Montel, diputada de Izquierda Unida, escribió la nota siguiente en su blog:

"Bueno, ya veis. Podria hacerlo a traves de blog. Podria enviar sms por doquier. Podria incluso radiarla por telefono. Pero no, el problema es el twitter. No puedo usarlo en la sala de la comision hasta tanto la mesa regule y por lo tanto prohiba el uso de esta herramienta tan peligrosa.

Reconocen que no hay razon legal alguna para prohibirlo. Reconocen que no pueden evitar que lo use. Incluso reconocen que yo lo puedo hacer fuera de la sala. ¿Que diferencia hay que me siente en la sala de al lado y twittee por el canal interno?

Este es el gobierno de la transparencia, de la libertad de expresion. Lo peor es que no es solo intolerancia, es tambien IGNORANCIA"

Pero, hoy, afortunamente, cosas cambiaron:

"Que todo el mundo sepa que hoy he twitteado sin problema. Desde las cuatro de la tarde he abierto el twitter delante de Esperanza Aguirre, Nacho González, Francisco Granados, Elvira Rodríguez, Cristina Cifuentes e incluso Rosa Posada y NO HA PASADO NADA. Puede que haya pasado alguna de las cosas:

- Que les de igual (improbable, estos aquí no dejan que se mueva una mota de polvo sin que ellos lo sepan)

- Que desautoricen a Rosa Posada. La verdad es que en el fondo no me gusta nada que le dejen como la mala de la película (de verdad, que ella no es tan mala). Lo lógico es lo que ayer fue grave hoy también lo fuera, y si me regañaron ayer, me regañaran hoy, pero no. ¿Puedo entender entonces que la prohibición de mañana queda levantada?

- Que no se hayan atrevido. Me inclino yo más por eso. A parte de que ha concitado cierta atención mediática, amigos y amigas twitteros, DAN USTEDES MUCHO MIEDO.

En definitiva, no sé si hemos ganado la guerra, pero sí esta batalla. A por la siguiente."

Parece que hay circo por todos los lados de este maravilloso mundo: en los próximos días vamos a estar más atento al circo político aunque sigue lo des espectá... culo.

The other day, I was talking about Parkinson disease with some people. Nowadays, as an example of celebrity linked to this terrible disease, the first name that comes to mind is that of Michael J. Fox (Back to the Future).

Since we haven't seen him a lot lately on the TV screen, and on any screen at all, I thought: What has been going with him lately?

Fortunately, with Internet, it is easy to find some news about anyone, especially famous people.
